🐾 Dog-eared Photography — The Nitty-Gritty

Because every good adventure needs a few ground rules!

Safety first

Your dog’s comfort and safety come before everything. Dogs remain under your care and control during the session. Reactive or nervous pups are more than welcome - just let me know beforehand so I can plan the best experience for them.

Rescheduling & cancellations

Sometimes the weather, light, or safety means we’ll need to reschedule - I’ll always work with you to find a new time.

Choosing your images

After your session we’ll meet for your ordering appointment. This is where you’ll see your final images and decide what artwork you’d like to order. Because everything is custom-made, orders are final once placed.

Payments & plans

Payment is due at your ordering appointment.

Print credit

Print credit may only be used for artwork purchases with Dog-eared Photography. It can’t be swapped for cash, transferred to someone else, or used for session fees. Print credit can only be redeemed at your ordering appointment.

Creative style

You’ve chosen me because you love my style (thank you!). I’ll use my professional judgment to select and retouch your images. RAW files aren’t provided.

Copyright & personal use

Copyright stays with Dog-eared Photography (this just protects how the images are used). You’ll have a personal-use licence for anything you purchase, which means you can print and share as you wish. What you can’t do is resell, alter, or use the photos commercially without permission.

Showing off your doggo & image use

I may share some of your images to showcase my work - whether that’s on my website, social media, in competitions, or in print/display. By signing this contract, you’re confirming that you have the right to give permission for everyone (two- and four-legged!) who will be photographed, and that you’re happy for me to use the images in this way.

My promise to you

I’ll take the utmost care with your images and your dog. If something beyond my control goes wrong (technical issue, accident, etc.), liability is limited to rescheduling or refunding your session fee.
